| The Biffco Point of Sale System is a
comprehensive yet easy to use Point of Sale software solution. It is
an ideal solution for the small to medium size retail establishment no
matter what your product line. The user defined
'Department' and 'Category' fields make this software customizable for most
any retail business. The product Information is entered into the
system through the Product Master Screen. (Initially we can import
this data from most any source) This is also where you will set your 'order
point' quantities and your 'order up to' quantities.
Inventory is entered into the system using the
Purchase Order Entry screen and once the item is received the Cost of Goods
Sold foundation is set. (Again, we can import your current information from
most any system you are using).
From this point on all you need to do is use the Cash
Register screen to enter all of your customers purchases and run the Create
Purchase Order report on a regular basis. The Create Purchase Order
report cycles through every product in your inventory, determines whether it
has reached the order point or dipped below it, determines the best vendor
to order the product from and then creates purchase orders for each of your
vendors.
You can also set a minimum profit margin percentage
for each Department, Category or individual item so that on receipt of each
purchase order items that are received that don't meet the minimum profit
margin are flagged and reported.
Month to Date, Year to Date and Life to Date data is
stored and available for reporting on Product Sales, Net Income, Discounts,
and Taxes. |
